Project Briefing
My main task for this project was to create a series of postcards to be paired up with cakes, that are sold by a small local business. For marketing purposes, the designs should have been flashy and unusual to attract client’s attention and urge them to photograph it and post it later on social media.
In the process of brainstorming it has been agreed that a group of characters will be created to link the postcards between each other and enable us to expand the postcard collection in the future. Making it easier to create seasonal designs (e.g. Christmas, Mother’s Day, Easter) and designs for other types of pastries (croissants, cinnamon buns etc).
As the result, I designed four postcards that will be printed on A5 size paper and sold alongside with cakes.
